Privacy policy

Information used by the app

The app uses category names and colours, session start and end times, milestone dates, display preferences, an on-device ledger of up to 5 used free logging dates, and purchase entitlement status. It has no feature that captures audio, photos, contacts or location. Anything you enter in a free-text field becomes part of your record.

On-device storage and backups

Practice records are saved in the app’s local storage, and preferences stay on the device. The main practice record is eligible for OS backups. Copies managed by the app before a restore, and recovery originals, are excluded from OS backups.

iCloud backup

When iCloud is available to the app and enabled on your device, the app saves copies of your practice record in your own iCloud. Copies include a save time and revision. A random installation ID separates each installation’s folder. The app keeps a latest copy and up to 14 daily copies. The daily-copy limit is a count of saved days, not a guarantee that data expires after 14 days. The app does not sync or merge records. The developer does not retrieve this practice data from your iCloud. Apple’s terms and privacy policy apply to the iCloud service.

Purchases and restoration

Apple’s App Store processes the one-time unlock and restoration of purchases. The app uses StoreKit to check the entitlement on the device. There is no implementation that sends receipts or purchase history to a developer-operated server. The app does not receive payment card details or your Apple Account password.

Export and display chosen by you

When you export JSON, data is passed to the destination or app you choose in the iOS share sheet. That destination’s policies also apply. The Share view only displays records and does not send them automatically. Live Activities show category names and timing information that people able to see your Lock Screen may read. You can manage their display in iOS settings.

Diagnostics

The app includes no custom crash-reporting or behavioural analytics SDK. Depending on your sharing choices and Apple’s services, Apple may process diagnostics and make crash reports available to the developer through its standard tools.

Deletion and control

You can delete individual logs in the app. Removing the app does not automatically delete all manually exported files, OS backups or iCloud backups. Manage these at their destinations and in iCloud settings. The developer cannot remotely delete records on your device or in your iCloud.

Information in support requests

If you email support, the sender address, message and any attachments you choose to provide are received to answer your request and investigate the problem. The app does not collect them automatically. Please do not send unnecessary practice data or payment information.

Support information retention

Support emails are received and stored with Proton Mail, provided by Proton AG. Emails and their attachments are used only to answer your question and provide support, and are deleted six months after your request has been resolved. To have them deleted sooner, contact us at the address on this page.
